We are the music makers. We are the dreamers of dreams.

For over a year, I've been tossing around the term KWOL Kingdom Way of Living in my teaching and seeking it in my life.  For me, it means that every moment of every day becomes an act of ministry.  going to grocery store,  waving at a neighbor, saying hello to a stranger, giving a kid a ride to or from school,  and parenting....  that is a never ending cornucopia of opportunity.

The question began to arise as to where we can best serve.  God's voice calls us.  The issue of comfort and community is central.  Where and how can we best serve? Are we listening and acting in accordance with God's direction, or our own?

We can serve in the upper class suburbs, in the schools, and in our big SUVs in the city...
We can serve in our churches, as teachers, worshippers, musicians, and dancers.
We can serve as we teach lessons, songs, and poetry... teaching students to seize the day.
We can serve as we honor our fathers and mothers and devote our lives to family.
We can serve as mi…


There is simply no place for human superiority in authentic ministry. Mature Christians understand how incompetent they are.

We as Christians must revere exceptionalism, education... While pursuing excellence, embracing art and beauty, we stand in awe as we see God's blessing revealed to the world through others and ourselves.

Abilities and skills honor God, they do not signify the worth of the individual in comparison to other men.

The things of this world. Materials, money, more more more....

They destroy.
